My account

Use the correct account for your local home and My One-Home, and manage your profile, sign-in and installation connection.

01

Keep the two sign-ins separate

Your Core account is local and uses a username. It determines which rooms you can view and control. My One-Home on the website uses your email address and manages your Cloud account, homes, licences, downloads, backups and support conversations. Signing in to one does not automatically sign you in to the other.

If a password fails, check the address bar first. The local app runs at your own Core address with /app/. Open the account portal through My One-Home on the website. Resetting a Cloud password does not change your local Core password.

02

Manage your local profile

In the existing Core management interface, your account page lets you save a display name and change your password using the current password. The new local password needs at least ten characters. The account page also offers adding a passkey on the device, which requires a supported browser in a secure HTTPS environment.

In the connected app, System shows the account in use and Sign out on this screen. Screen name, theme and language under This screen are local display preferences. They do not grant additional permissions or change your Cloud profile.

If the passkey button is missing, check the HTTPS address and browser support. Continue with your existing password.
03

Create or open your Cloud account

Use an email address whose mailbox you can access. Registration asks for a password of at least twelve characters containing letters and numbers. Complete email confirmation before assessing the rest of the account status.

  1. Open My One-Home and choose sign-in or create a new account.
  2. Enter your details and, for registration, follow the email confirmation. Request another confirmation from the sign-in page if needed.
  3. Use Forgot password for this Cloud account if you have lost the password, then open the reset link you receive.
  4. After setting a new password, sign in again.
04

Adjust profile and two-step verification

Open Account in the portal for profile and security. Under Change password, enter the current and new passwords. After saving, the portal asks you to sign in again. Make account changes on a screen where you can keep confidential information out of view.

  1. Choose Set up 2FA and add the displayed secret to your authenticator app.
  2. Enter the app’s six-digit code to activate two-step verification.
  3. Keep the displayed recovery codes offline. They are for account sign-in and differ from the recovery key for Cloud backups.
  4. If a sign-in attempt expires, start again with your password to begin a fresh 2FA attempt.
06

Read licences and downloads

Licence shows validity, Updates until and the number of installations used compared with the allowed number. Downloads shows published Stable releases for which the account has download rights. An empty list can mean that no suitable release has been published yet.

Updates lists confirmed version transitions after Core made healthy contact again. Opening this page does not install an update. Under Subscription & invoices, payment options are available only when the payment module is enabled; read the displayed status before proceeding.

07

Ask for help from your account

Under Support, create a ticket with a subject, category, home and description. Open an existing conversation to read replies and add an answer. State whether the issue concerns local Core sign-in or your Cloud account.

Include the version, time and exact error message. Do not share passwords, authenticator secrets, recovery codes or backup keys. On shared devices, check which session remains open and sign out of the relevant account when finished.
